Cyndy Thompson took her first steps on the same sidewalk in South Texas where she would later spend countless childhood afternoons performing for the trees, bushes, grass, and roly-polys on her block. The front porch was her stage and all the world her audience. Meeting up with Kurt in the mid 90's, her love of music and especially singing turned into more than just a hobby. Cyndy later got certified in basic audio engineering, and started to develop her lyrical and vocal style. Since then, Cyn and Kurt have been writing and recording together regularly. Cyndy's musical influences include a wide range of people, living and dead, from about every style of music imaginable.
Kurt Thompson has more than 25 years experience composing, playing and recording all types of music. He has studied with such greats as Dizzie Gillespie, Karel Husa and Frank Zappa. He has a B.A. in Music Theory/Composition and an M.A. in Psychology. Kurt is composer, audio engineer, producer, guitarist and band leader for Blue Sky Way.
